Meet Erik Olson — Why We Went Green
I started this company in 2011 as Encino Appliance Repair. For years, I watched the same pattern: homeowners being told their appliance was "beyond repair" when a $150 fix would give it another decade of life. Perfectly good refrigerators, washers, and ovens hauled to the curb — all because someone wanted to sell a replacement instead of doing an honest repair.
In 2024, we rebranded to Green Appliance Repair because we realized that what we'd been doing all along was environmental work. Every appliance we repair is one that doesn't end up in a landfill. Every compressor we rebuild is hundreds of pounds of steel and refrigerant kept out of the waste stream.
We're still the same team of nine factory-certified technicians on Ventura Blvd. Same honest diagnostics, same fair prices. We just made official what was always true: repair is the greenest choice.
